Job Summary
Our client, a petroleum products trading company specializing in diesel, fuel, and lubricants, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, and transactions. The ideal candidate must have relevant trading industry experience, strong knowledge of Tally, and fluency in both Hindi and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Monitor customer accounts, supplier balances, and outstanding payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of diesel, fuel, and lubricants purchases and sales.
• Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile stock records with accounting records.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Handle VAT-related documentation and support VAT return preparation.
• Follow up on customer payments and supplier settlements.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in petroleum products, fuel, diesel, lubricants, or general trading companies.
• Hands-on experience with Tally accounting software is mandatory.
• Fluent in Hindi and English (both written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be available for immediate joining.
