Job Summary
Our client, a chemical trading company in the UAE, is looking for an experienced and results-driven Chemical Sales Executive to manage and expand the company's chemical sales activities across the UAE.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in chemical trading and sales, with a strong understanding of the complete sales cycle — from product availability and stock management to customer acquisition, sales, order processing, delivery, and payment follow-up.
This is not a purely office-based or relationship-management role. The candidate must be comfortable with field sales, customer visits, market development, stock-based selling, and actively generating business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and generate new sales opportunities for the company's chemical products across the UAE.
  • Sell chemicals from available stock and actively identify customers for products currently available in the company's inventory.
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer base across relevant industrial and commercial sectors.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify potential customers, new business opportunities, and market demand.
  • Handle the complete sales cycle from lead generation and customer visits through quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, delivery, and payment follow-up.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable chemical products based on their applications and requirements.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Monitor stock availability and work closely with the internal team to convert available inventory into sales.
  • Follow up on quotations, samples, orders, deliveries, outstanding payments, and customer requirements.
  • Negotiate prices and commercial terms while maintaining the company's required profit margins.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, product demand, and customer buying patterns.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, customer visit reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Explore opportunities with manufacturers, traders, distributors, contractors, workshops, and other potential users of chemical products.
  • Maintain accurate records of customers, leads, quotations, orders, and sales activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in chemical sales or chemical trading, preferably within the UAE market.
  • Proven experience in selling chemical products, preferably from available stock/inventory.
  • Practical understanding of buying and selling chemicals, chemical trading, and local market dynamics.
  • Experience in field sales and direct customer acquisition, not only account management or office-based B2B sales.
  • Existing customer network within the UAE chemical/industrial market is highly preferred.
  • Ability to identify potential customers independently and convert leads into actual sales.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, follow-up, and closing skills.
  • Good understanding of chemical products and their industrial applications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales and revenue targets.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, or other UAE-market languages is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and sales reporting tools.
