Job Summary
Our client, a newly established Fire Protection Contracting Company based in Ras Al Khaimah, is looking for a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on electrical experience in the UAE, with fire protection experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and fire protection systems at project sites.
- Assist with installation of fire alarm systems, electrical wiring, control panels, cables, and related equipment.
- Perform electrical works according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of fire protection and electrical systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
- Read and understand basic electrical/shop drawings and site instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site technicians to complete assigned works.
- Identify and report technical issues, material requirements, and site problems to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow company and site HSE procedures.
- Perform other electrical and fire protection-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
- Fire protection / fire alarm / fire fighting system experience is preferred.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, ITI in Electrical Trade, or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with fire alarm systems, control panels, cabling, and related electrical systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively at construction/project sites.
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of working in site conditions.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
- We are looking for a hands-on technician who can work independently, follow technical instructions, and adapt quickly to project requirements. Candidates with previous fire protection contracting experience in the UAE will have an advantage.
