Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferably Candidates who are currently available in Oman and can join immediately or maximum within 30 days.

Job Summary
Our client, a chemical trading company in Oman, is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Chemical Sales Executive to develop and grow sales of chemical products across the Oman market.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both selling and sourcing/moving chemical products, with a proven ability to identify customers, generate orders, develop new business, and maintain regular product movement. Candidates whose experience is limited to B2B corporate sales without direct responsibility for product selling and market development will not be preferred.
This is a field-based sales position requiring frequent customer visits and market development across Oman.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales activities for the company's chemical product portfolio.
  • Identify and acquire new customers across relevant industries and market segments.
  • Actively visit customers, markets, factories, workshops, traders, distributors, and other potential buyers.
  • Generate new sales opportunities and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
  • Sell chemical products through both direct customer sales and trading/distribution channels.
  • Develop and maintain a strong customer base and generate repeat business.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable chemical products.
  • Source potential buyers and identify opportunities for moving available stock.
  • Monitor market demand, pricing, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, payments, and outstanding receivables.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and management teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing customers to increase sales volume and product penetration.
  • Negotiate prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.
  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, sales, collections, and market activities.
  • Provide regular sales and market reports to management.
  • Develop new sales channels and explore opportunities with traders, distributors, industrial users, and end-users.
  • Travel within Oman as required to develop the market and meet customers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in chemical sales or chemical trading.
  • Strong knowledge of the Oman chemical market is highly preferred.
  • Experience in stock selling, chemical distribution, trading, or product-based sales is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a proven track record of generating actual sales and moving products, not only managing B2B corporate accounts.
  • Experience dealing with traders, distributors, factories, industrial customers, contractors, and end-users is an advantage.
  • Valid Oman driving licence is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Oman for customer and market visits.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, customer acquisition, and closing skills.
  • Good knowledge of chemical products and their applications.
  • Ability to develop new customers independently and maintain long-term business relationships.
  • Target-oriented, commercially minded, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Good command of English; Additional language is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and basic sales reporting.
