Our client, a joinery and interior fit-out company based in Ajman, is looking for a skilled Joinery Draftsman to prepare accurate technical and production drawings for custom joinery and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the design, production, site, and project teams to ensure drawings are practical, accurate, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, production drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for joinery and fit-out works.
- Develop detailed drawings for wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall cladding, reception counters, cabinets, furniture, and other custom joinery items.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- Produce accurate dimensions, material specifications, hardware details, and joinery construction details.
- Interpret architectural, interior design, and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate drawings with site conditions, architectural requirements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with designers, project engineers, production teams, carpenters, and site supervisors.
- Revise drawings based on client, consultant, production, or site comments.
- Ensure drawings are suitable for manufacturing and installation.
- Prepare cutting/fabrication details and material information when required.
- Conduct site measurements and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Maintain proper drawing records and revision control.
- Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in joinery and interior fit-out, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong experience preparing joinery shop drawings and production drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or other design/drafting software would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of joinery materials, construction methods, hardware, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under tight project deadlines and coordinate with multiple teams.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
